As the large, expensive and over commercialised festivals lose their appeal, regional events are now in vogue and proving highly popular with todays festival fans. There are some fantastic festivals already established in Cumbria and Furness Fest now joins this select club. However, there will be few events that can tick the same boxes in terms of the quality of entertainment in the way we do. With a nice small capacity of only 2,500 Furness Fest will also be both spacious and comfortable.
Furness Fest marquees

We have very much concentrated on the 'unsigned' artist for this event, with our local performers being a major feature. We've considered hundreds of groups and applications are still coming in to play. It's been a difficult task seperating out the quality, but we now have a very impressive playlist - especially for a maiden event. With London chart breakers The Holloways, Irish folk punk rockers Neck and a DJ line up including Greg Vickers, Aim and DJ Food, we've produced a musical experience of a calibre not seen before in the Furness area.
We've also built in some additional mini events and non-music based entertainment, in keeping with some of the best national festivals. We have also concentrated very much on making Furness Fest a family event, with half price tickets on offer for under 16's and free entry to under 5's. And with children, there comes a need for childrens activities also and a small dedicated team are working hard to deliver some exciting and interesting activities for our younger guests!
