Furness Fest 2008 - Live Music Festival

The Furness Peninsula is a beautiful area which has undergone a large amount of regeneration work in recent years, without losing too much of its original identity.

There are still some high profile projects underway, including the exciting Marina Village Project in nearby Barrow in Furness.

The Furness coastline really should be explored given the opportunity and offers some incredible seaside views for miles on a clear day.

There are many small market towns to explore in the area and many other local destinations for visitors.

And don't forget the many great little pubs that are scattered around the area. There has been a growth in local micro breweries and real ale is now freely available in dozens of Furness ale houses!
